Frequently Asked Questions...
I have a Directv Tivo DVR, the question is...?
I'm planning to move to a house and possibly upgrade to Directv HD DVR. What can I do with the old Directv TIVO DVR?
Sorry, this question may be too naive but if I sell or give away my old DVR, the person who gets it need to have service with Directv? or they can just use the DVR with any other cable company and just pay their monthly DVR fee?
Answer:
Why don't you just keep the old DVR and put it on a different tv. We upgraded to an HD in the family room and moved the other one in our bedroom. Kinda nice to be able to rewind on both tv's.
