First Step: Free to Air Equipment
As with every entertainment system, you need some technical stuff before you can watch the HD Free to Air television. The first piece is, of course, the HD TV itself. Some people spend way too much money here because they forget to compare offers on the internet before they make the purchase.
Next you will absolutely need an FTA HD Receiver for your system. Think of it as the heart of your TV system. It translates the signal and picks up countless television programs from all over the world. If you aren't satisfied with your native programs, why not watch Spanish, Arabic, Chinese or Farsi channels?
Now, the system wouldn't be complete without a satellite dish. In most cases you can easily install them yourself without any help. Just install it yourself in a spot with a good signal. Bonus advice: Buy a smaller dish and save extra money. Most of the time they work just as well as big ones but they don’t require as much electricity.
