Loving Laser Pointer Presentation Remote
If you deliver electronic presentations making use of PowerPoint or other programs, it is possible to manually move forward to the subsequent slide using the keyboard or the mouse. One way, however, to deliver far more helpful presentations that enhance your connection to your audience is to add a remote control to your presentation tools. What functions need to you look for when choosing a remote control?
Get closer to your audience when you use 1 of the
many cool remote presentation tools which are now
available at extremely reasonable prices:
Remote Features
A much better option would be to purchase your very own individual presentation remote control. When evaluating a remote, appear for these capabilities and choose what is significant to you:
- Ergonomic and simply fits inside your hand. Keep in mind that you may possibly be using the remote for an hour or an complete day.
- Simple to use. In most cases, a smaller, ergonomic remote is easy to make use of but test it just before buying. I was reminded of the significance of an quick to make use of remote lately when I watched an exceptional presenter pull out a huge remote that looked a price scanner gun from Dwelling Depot. As he fumbled with a big panel of buttons, the remote dropped to the floor and broke open with batteries flying across the stage.
- Transmit distance. Remotes operate with 3 unique technologies: RF (wireless radio frequency), IR (infrared), and Bluetooth. A big drawback with IR remotes is which you will need to point the mouse straight at the receiver for it to work. Bluetooth remotes use the most recent technology but presently have a maximum range of about 30' though quite a few RF remotes have a range of 50 to 100 feet. With some remotes, you are able to have your back to the laptop and move to the middle of an audience.
- Built-in mouse. Some presenters will sacrifice a bit in size to obtain a built-in mouse, generally a smaller button like you see on some laptops. I choose a separate wireless mouse that I use for portions of my presentations. I come across a built-in mouse to be too awkward but it could be great for the purposes.
- Visible laser pointer. For those who would like a built-in laser pointer, be certain to test it for visibility and practice moving it slowly. A number of the pointers have such a smaller laser dot that it doesn't show properly on screen. Would an animation be a greater solution to highlight parts of a slide or a process?

laptops. Consists of a lower powered laser pointer.
Honeywell Power Presenter Wireless Remote Control
When evaluating features, it's still not that popular to uncover a wide range of remotes at your local laptop or computer shop or office supply outlet, and so, your very best alternative would be to locate a person who has a remote and attempt it out. My favorite is the RemotePoint Navigator from Interlink Electronics which is easy to use, fits comfortably in my hand, and gives me up to 50' of movement from my laptop. Another top model by the very same business could be the RemotePoint Presenter, with up to 100' of movement, a mouse button, and 32 MB of storage for your presentation; it's priced at about $150.
There are many other models and brands to consider. Personally, I usually do not like remotes loaded with tons of features which you could possibly not need; these remotes are commonly larger or extra complicated to use. Remember, you really should be employing a remote to ensure that you do not call attention to the technologies as properly as your audience can focus on your content.
While not as sleek in style as the Kensington, it can be just as effective. Retails for about $119.

Frequently Asked Questions...
Am I ready for a self-powered sub?
Ok. I did alllooot of research today. Apparently, my receiver doesn't have a good amp and the current sub I have doesn't kick much. A pro on subs told me that I should get a self-powered sub. That way, it amps itself to the most optimal performance even though my receiver amp is utter sh*t! Now, my current 8" sub is connected to the receiver using that thin-type speaker the wire it has. With the current small sub plugged in, there is 1 extra subwoofer out (looks like an ordinary A/V port but purple) and I was told that a good sub cable should be plugged from the receiver sub-out to the SELF-powered sub. This way, I don't need to worry about my receiver outputting low performance to a non-self powerd sub! Is this correct?
Answer:
Well bro...It seems like no one wants to help you out...but I will try my best...first of all...There are more options that just powered subs( self-powered subs as you call them)...a powered sub basically is: a speaker, a box, and an amp. all in one BOX...you can also buy the amp the speaker and the box all separate...then put the speaker in the box, connect your amp to your car, and then connect you speaker to the amp...But I think that the best thing for you to get is a powered sub..Easier to install and it will save you some room....I left you a couple of videos...check them out...
