If the motherboard uses the same connections as the hard drive then you definitely can. Just remember though that if you have Windows XP or Vista installed on the hard drive and you move it to the other motherboard you will have to reformat it cause Windows will detect that the motherboard chipset is different, unless however the motherboards have identical chipsets.
