Positioning A Dish Network Satellite
Dish network viewing can be fun. But the process that lies behind this experience can be tedious. It is detailed and also nimble. So before buying a satellite dish, you need to look into a few details that will smoo then your experience completely. You need to walk around the house to find a spot that is open and faces the southwest sky. It is important to take care of the position, for the reception of satellite signals. You can also use your roof top to mount the satellite dish. It is advisable to place the satellite TV dish in a position that you can access easily. This will help you to keep the dish clean during snow and storm. It will allow you to keep the dish dirt and twig free.
To know a few more details about what you should do to install the dish, here are a few pointers. Once you have purchased the dish antenna box, open it to check if you have all the equipment. You need to purchase a pole along with a two-foot steel rod. This should come with enough screws that will help you to mount the dish onto the pole. In case you find some equipment damaged in the dish antenna kit, then call the store from where you purchased them. You should also check to see if any thing is missing.
Assemble the satellite dish. Put the clamp on the back of the satellite dish. Now you need to set the dish onto the pole without tightening the screws. Once you have this set up, concentrate on the cable. Make sure that the cable runs through the center of the arm on the satellite. Screw it on the LNB adapter that is mounted on the dish. It is now time to tighten the screws on the LNB. But at this point you should remember to connect the ground wire to the satellite.
It is now time to drive the two foot rod into the ground so that only three inches stick out. You can also dig a hole about twelve inches deep and then cement the pole into the ground. Next you have to connect the ground wire to the steel rod. In this way your satellite will be grounded and keep it safe from storms. Connect the cable to the grounding block. You now need to drill a hole in the wall. A foot of cable wire needs to left for lead. Then run the cable wire into the house. Screw up a connector on the wall. On the inside, hook up the cable and then hook it up to the receiver. Connect the cable from the receiver to the television.
Find out the strength of the signal. Align the dish in a manner so that you hear a loud buzz coming from the television. On getting the right amount of strength, you need to screw up the on to the pole. Tighten the dish to the pole for good reception. Be sure not to move the dish. It may hamper the picture and sound quality. Your satellite TV dish is now ready to be used.
