Will HD eventually become standard on directv?
Answer:
I think yes... I work for DirecTV and there are already several citys that every customer with standard recievers has been upgraded to HD recievers. Let me clarify. In Lincoln nebraska every directv customer has a HD dish and HD recievers. From what I hear Omaha is next. I suspect that Directv is going to eventually change over all their customers to HD equipment. It may take a while though. Chances are that directv will be ready long before all the networks are broadcasting all HD.
